What we do with what you send.
Hybridio (Pty) Ltd runs this site. If you send an enquiry, this is everything that happens to it. It is short because the system is small.

What we collect, and when
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name and email address, which are required, and optionally your company, a phone number, which of the listed options best describes what you need, and whatever you write in the message box.
Nothing is collected about you before you submit that form. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising network and no third-party script watching the page. Visitor numbers come from Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and counts page views without identifying anyone — which is why this site shows you no cookie banner.
Why we hold it
To answer you. That is the whole purpose. An enquiry is stored so that an email outage cannot lose it, and emailed to us so that we see it.
Your details are never sold, never rented, and never added to a marketing list. We will not email you about anything other than the enquiry you sent unless you ask us to.
Who else can see it
No other person or company is given your details. They do pass through the suppliers that run this site, each of which only handles the data in order to provide its service:
- Vercel — hosting, and the cookieless visitor counts
- Turso — the database the enquiry is stored in
- Resend — sends the notification email to us
- ImprovMX — forwards mail addressed to our published address
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for 24 months, so that we can pick up a conversation that went quiet and so we have a record of work we quoted on. After that they are deleted.
You can ask us to delete yours sooner, at any point, and we will.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Email us and we will do it — there is no form to fill in and no charge.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and the database holding enquiries is reachable only with a credential held by this application. It is a small system with one table and one endpoint, which is the main thing keeping it safe.
No system is perfect. If you find something wrong with this one, we would genuinely like to hear about it at the address below.
Ask us anything about this
Including a request to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. We will action it rather than ask you to prove why.
